About Ol Chiki
The Ol Chiki script was created in 1925 by Pandit Raghunath Murmu for the Santali language. Unlike other Indic scripts, Ol Chiki is not derived from the Brahmi script across most Indian languages. Instead, its shapes are inspired by elements of nature and daily life, making it uniquely suited to the phonetics of the Santali language.
Today, it is the official script for Santali in India and is widely used in education, literature, and digital media.
